Shimmering Deep

Brave dwarves have struck the earth once more - this time, in search of crystals that shimmer with inky darkness. It is said that combining 2 of them opens a pathway through space to a new, untouched land full of riches and danger.

Features:

• Random events occur as your dwarves dig their tunnels, becoming more dangerous the deeper they go
• Find caves, rare materials and lairs. Watch out for possible hazards
• 12 enemy types of varying strength, intelligence and goals
• Resource storage locations matter - make sure your warehouses are safe and protected
• Efficient fortress design will keep your forces and resources safe from the creatures of the deep.
• Many room types including Farms and Warehouses, Gates and Embrasures, Barracks and Paragon Halls.
• Build a strong army of dwarves, keep their morale high, but make sure you can sustain it.
• An endgame challenge of generating the game-ending Shimmering Crystals.

What's required to play:

1. A PDF with a complete game guide. Full base game is free for now.
2. A pencil & an eraser
3. Single sheet of graph paper (a notepad works well)
4. A d10 die (ideally, 2 of them). Alternatively, a dice-throwing app.
5. (Recommended) print out the game guide as a booklet on A4 (or letter) sized paper. Staple it and you'll have a nice travel-sized guide.

Another option is to play on a touchscreen tablet with a stylus.

A single successful playthrough takes around 6-10 hours, depends on player's strategy and game events.
